My LifeProof Fre for my 5S has the rainbow effect, aka Newton rings. I reinstalled the case by wiping it down inside and out with a dry cloth and holding both the phone and the case up to the AC vent as suggested on the LifeProof website.
I suppose that it's a little better now, but they're still there. If I press on the logo cutout on the back, they go away for a second but immediately come back.
My question is, with enough cleaning and AC, is it possible to completely get rid of them? Or will they always be there no matter what? They don't bother me too much, but if I can get rid of them I would certainly like to.
(I've heard of the baby powder trick, but I don't want to do that.)
