Hi everyone,
we bought the Logitech Touch Folio keyboard for my wife's iPad Pro 2018. She really likes the keyboard and trackpad when she uses it, but struggles with the weight when holding it and doing browsing, etc.

Can someone recommend another/lighter solution? The magic keyboard is even heavier.

Thanks for some input!

There is the Brydge Pro+ keyboard but it gets mediocre reviews and weighs 1.14 lbs for the 11 inch. https://www.brydge.com/pages/brydge-pro-plus-tech-specs

Reviewers on Youtube actually said the magic keyboard is lighter.
And when using the ipad by holding it, you can simply detach it instantly.

I would not recommend the Brydge... This is coming from someone who has had it.

I think Brydge is out - I have not read a lot of praise.

Magic keyboard has quite some disadvantages:
- price
- not very flexible (modes, viewing angles, ...)
- in case you detach the device, you do not have any protection
- essentially same weight as logitech keyboard (I do not talk about +-50g)

So I do not think the magic keyboard is a better alternative to fix the weight issue

Any other ideas?

I use the Magic Keyboard with CoverBuddy case for little more protection.
And when I detach the MKB, I use the CoverBuddy along with Smart Folio Cover (non Apple). Quick and easy attach with magnet mechanism.

There is no other alternative for keyboard and trackpad combo that use smart connector other than Logitech as far as I know.
Other use bluetooth like the Brydge which resulting poor performance.
