Hi guys, I have a 2009 model 21.5" iMac. I've noticed what I can only describe as 'light spots' on the screen, in the bottom third of the panel. There are 4 regions where this occurs - basically for the lighter colours, these areas show up as white. However, on darker colours/black they appear as per normal. The largest of these areas measures about 3mm long by 2mm wide, that equates to about 100 pixels (hopefully my math is correct, if not, it would be great if someone could let me know :p). The iMac is still under warranty, but taking it into a repair centre would be annoying if they refuse to fix it. The question I want to ask is, what type of issue is this (since it's not really dead pixels, not sure what the definition of bright pixels are), and what is Apple's policy on these matters? I'm outside of the 90 day telephone support period, so calling Apple isn't really an option I'm afraid
