I wonder if there is such a thing as a lightning plug to lightening plug, (male to male adapter?)The reason I ask is that if I'm out I use an iPad pro and also have my iPhone with me so if there is one it may be useful to have.

Why would you want connect them together?

There was a old apple to old apple connector that allowed photos to be copied across.
Cable was one way only.
May still have one here at work. But after a certain ios it stopped working.

Thanks for replying. I know, as you say the older ones existed but I was wondering about the newer ones, thanks anyway. They probably stopped due to more emphasis on the cloud I should imagine. But thanks

but still: why though? Why would you want to connect an iPhone with an iPad? To copy files? I don't get it. Both devices are on the same iCloud account, so they share the same photo library. But if there is no internet connection, then Airdrop is your go-to, as it is rediculously fast.
