Lighting in my Loft!

Currently, the lighting in my loft where all my equipment is appalling. Does anyone know where I can get some decent lighting for my room? Easy to install and just have the ability to plug-in to a socket.

I'd like it to be quite stylish and sleek or if need be, not to be able to be seen at all.

If you give an idea of your location, I might be able to suggest somewhere. Ikea lights tend to be expensive and flaky, although they do have some good stuff.
