Lighting Inconsistencies on 24" alu iMac

Ok i've had my iMac for a good few months now and it's never crashed on me once which i'm happy about but I have noticed the screens tendancy to be brighter on the bottom left with a darker band on the far right.

When the brightness is at 100% the band is invisible but the light bleed on the bottom left is not especially when watching something dark.

Is anyone else having troubles like these?

I'm on my 2nd Alum 24" mac. I returned the first one cause I had spotlights (greenish yellow) at the bottom of the screen and the left side was brighter than the right. After getting the 2nd one home and spending some time with it, guess what? same issues. The spotlight is only one instead of two and the screen is still brighter on left than right. It is an issue with the backlighting being in uneven positions.

If you look around here you will find that this is a very known issue, and it seems to be wide spread as well. I'm on my fourth iMac and all had issues with backlighting and yellow tint. I have given up on getting a good replacement and hope that Apple will officially recognize the issue and offer to fix it.

The backlighting on that last one I got was however fairly consistent when I got it, but now a month later it's just as bad as the others. So my initial suspicions I had that it's due to the backlight inverter seems very likely.

See mine isn't bad when the screen is light it is when it's pitch black you can see the lightness/inversion on the bottom left so I think I'll ride it out for a few months until apple 100% has the issue sorted so I don't ask for a replacement and get one that is worse.

I have the gradient issue and although I've tried to ignore it - it's really getting to me. There's also a light spot like a "bleed" in the bottom left section.
The one thing putting me off doing anything yet is the fact that no one seems to have gotten a better one back from repairs.
