Has anyone experienced this before? Not too sure how i would go about getting the piece out, will probably have to replace that component. Any advice is helpful!

If all else fails a jeweler has tiny tools that might help. Is Sears still around? They always had a jeweler kiosk in store that was very reasonable and sometimes even free depending. They have helped me out in the past for similar issues.

The local mall has a small kiosk for a guy that does screen replacement on smartphones. If you could fid a guy like that, he would probably have some ideas. ????
