I sometimes use my Lightning EarPods for FaceTime Audio calls and the other person sometimes tells me that I am extremely staticky. So bad that she has to hang up sometimes because it’s so loud. I can listen to music and use the controls perfectly fine, it’s just the microphone that ***** itself. This happens about 5 times out of 10. I try to keep my cables in good condition and always insert and remove cables with extreme caution. I also try to keep my port clean with rubbing alcohol and also the lightning contacts on the EarPods with alcohol as well but it still does it.
