Hey everyone,
So I got the Pencil the other day for my 10.5 and when I paired it for the first time I thought that the lightning connector on the Pencil was supposed to go a bit farther into the port on the iPad then it really does. So I gave it a bit of an extra push the first time plugging it in before I realized it is not supposed to go in any farther.
I was just wondering, in your experience, how durable the lightning port is? Everything is working fine at the moment and I don’t see any damage, but I’m still a bit paranoid that the port may have been moved or weakened. I may hand over the iPad and pencil to my daughter to draw every now and then and don’t want her to push the pencil in harder than need be by accident if the port isn’t that durable.
Has anyone had a similar experience/knowledge of the port’s durability especially in conjunction with the Pencil?
Sorry if this is a very nerdy/neurotic question.
