Title says it all... My xs max no longer recognizes any lightning cables. It was working normally prior to the update.

oddly, if I push up on cable, the phone will recognize it but only momentarily.

The port is free of the debris and the cables sit in there normally. Cables and chargers working on other devices.

Is there anything else I can do? Could this possibly be a software issue?

May not be related but after i got my new Pro Max on Friday, CarPlay kept reactivating. It was as if the apple lightning cable was loose...which it wasn't.

Need to try it again tomorrow with the replacement phone

Another weird detail... just turned the phone off and plugged it in. The phone started up from putting the lightning cable in but once booted up, again did not recognize the cable. Software, right? Will this go away with iOS 13.1?
