Weird issue, looking for help. I have a pretty old pair of Bose earbuds I wanted to use again, so I got an Apple Lightning to 3. mm Headphone Jack Adapter. Worked so well, that I bought a new pair of earbuds on eBay -- only with these, a tap on the volume on the remote drives the audio ALL the way up or ALL the way down. I take off the adapter and use the buds on my MacBook, and it's fine.
Vendor even replaced the earbuds for me; same problem. Anyone encounter this or have any suggestions? Thanks.
