Lightroom going crazy while mouse hover on the filmstrip??

I just started using Lightroom and the thing I noticed is that that the filmstrip is crazy when you mouse over it. When I mouse over the filmstrip random states would show on the screen. The rating or flags would come on and off randomly when my mouse move. See video for what I am talking about

I don't have any problems with any other programs, just LR. I'm using the latest version of LR on a mac with latest OS. Any ideas how to fix?

Likely a dirty mouse, clean it or try another one.
