Hi all,
Just picked up a new Mac Pro (2019, 8-core, 580X). It's amazingly fast and Photoshop now actually runs at full speed rather than me doing something and then having a couple of seconds of lag time before it takes effect.
However, I've noticed an issue with Adobe Lightroom and was wondering if anyone had a solution?
I'm using a Benq 2700PT monitor colour calibrated with the i1 Display Pro, signal over HDMI plugged directly into the 580x. When I open an image in the Develop module of LR it looks massively oversaturated. The library module however seems to show accurate colours. Photoshop also shows accurate colours.
The only way that I've found to get accurate colours in LR's Develop module is to go into Preferences > Performance and then turn off the 'Use Graphics Processor'. This then immediately shows accurate colours in the Develop module. As soon as I turn the Graphics Processor on again the image goes back to oversaturated.
Clearly something with the graphics processor is causing LR to use the wrong profile, even though the Library module in LR and the whole of Photoshop are using the correct profile.
Any ideas how I can use my expensive new machine and LR with the graphics processor turned on?
