Good afternoon everybody,

Has anyone tested Lightroom Mobile with the current iPadOS / IOS 13 betas? I am interested in overall functionality as well as the ability to directly import images?

Cheers,

James

Can’t directly import images from the Card yet because it won’t show in Lightroom, despite showing in files. I’m actually also unable to import any of my raw files from my fuji X-H1. iOS says they’re incompatible (they were fine in iOS 12), so I’m hoping this is just a bug with the new raw processor.

Thanks for the reply!

Compressed or uncompressed raw? I know IOS 12 has been fine with uncompressed raw files from X series cameras, but can’t recognized the compressed raw. Are you saying it can’t recognize any of them now?

I could be wrong but I think developers have to update their apps to take advantage of this. Luma Fusion is the same. You can not import from external storage yet.

I tried both from my X-H1. Neither will import on b2, I get a red exclamation mark when I try. I’ve submitted feedback in the Feedback app.

Previously I could import either one, but only uncompressed would show thumbnails. Compressed could be imported but wouldn’t work until brought into Lightroom.

Yep, I think you’re right about that.
I’m hoping it’s just a bug though, would be a pain if I couldn’t even import the raw files to the camera roll.
But the true dream would be to just import straight from the card and into Lightroom, so even if raw support for Fuji is dropped, there’s still some hope.

Lightroom mobile is working OK for me without any issues.
As mentioned direct file import not available yet, but importing Olympus raw into Photos then Lightroom working OK for me on iPadOS.

Hmm might be just an import bug with Fuji RAF files (compressed lossless + uncompressed) on iOS 13b2. Hopefully b3 or b4 fixes it. Good to hear it’s working with Oly raw files.

hi the only thing i don’t like, is you cannot view the raw file, it’s only showing a low quality preview in the file app.
some workaround? it’s really annoying the current way to view the raw files in the ipados, better was in ios 12 ( photo app )

Build Number ― 17A5508m

I too have SD cards from a Fujifilm X-T3 camera that worked on ios12 but are ignored by iPadOS 13.

It appears that Fujifilm format JPEG or RAW isnt supported in iPadOS 13 b2
I’ve tried from other sources like a DJi Drone and they work fine.

I may have to wind back to iOS12 as cant really help beta testing 13 if I can’t get any of my images into it.

Any ideas when B3 is due to come out before I do? - knowing my luck it’ll be the day after I revert!

Lightroom Works on iPad 12.9 2018. iOS 13 Beta 2

Attached my XT3 directly, imported into "photos" first then I could import into Lightroom.
Raw works as it should and profiles are there.

there was no "import from card/Camera" in the Lightroom dropdown.
Don't have a SD card reader, sent it back as it didn't work unless i put the SD card into a usb reader then into the usb to c adapter.
