just wondering if there are limited amounts of ipads being sent to the UK, pass the apple store each morning on way to work this week so went in each day and ask if any are in stock and they say they are sold out first thing in the morning each day, i've had one on order from apple.com since 29th May and still not shipped

not really in a rush but just wondering if they aren't sending alot over compared to the states

I would imagine supplies are limited equally.

There has been massive demand for the iPad, a lot which was unanticipated. (Just look at the international launch date being repeatedly pushed back.)

the europoean apple stores now have reservation lists, so the stores being sold out first thing is expected as people will get an email that their iPad is there and they pick up the iPad they reserved.
