Hey Macrumors.

Today I did a "Clean Install" of my iPhone SE 2.Gen (In Finder on my Mac, with IPSW file from ipsw.me) Everything went fine and everything works. But it amazes me that I can not see my warranty in (Settings> General> About) Am pretty sure it was shown before. Is there anything I can do to get it back?

Thanks in advance

Which iOS version did you install? I'm on 13.6 and my Applecare+ shows in that location.

EDIT: sorry I see on your screenshot it's 13.6 you installed. It definitely should be showing there. Have you tried restarting your phone?

Just tried to check on Apple's website and there I got this message - see screenshot. I can easily see warranty on my iPad and MacBook. Mysterious. My iPhone was purchased directly from Apple.

Ah, very interesting! Maybe there is an issue with the Applecare validation server, not necessarily your serial number. If it continues, perhaps a call or chat with Apple would be helpful.

I contacted Apple Support and they somehow got it registered again. So now it works.

Hi,

I got a similar situation, but in my case, the warranty information disappeared from all my devices.
iPhone XS Max
iPhone 12 Pro Max
iPad Pro 5th

Can you give me some tips about how to make my warranty appear again?

Kind regards

The member you quoted called Apple Support to get it resolved, so that's the best tip anyone can give you.
