Apple News+ Limiting What's Shared on Family Sharing

I just subscribed to Apple News+ and Apple sent me a notification saying that I can share it with my family at no extra charge.

I'd like to do this; however, I do NOT want my family to be able to charge my credit card for their purchase or to be able to see my book/iTunes purchase history.

Question: is it possible to JUST share a service like Apple News+ WITHOUT sharing anything else?

Yes, I was able to share the News subscription without sharing the other info...at least I’m 95% sure that the other parties couldn‘t see that info...
