Back in October 2021 we bought a MacBook Pro 16 M1. It's been working fine since we got it, but today I noticed there is a vertical dim line a few pixels wide exactly in the middle of the screen running all the way from the top to the bottom. First thing we did was reboot it, line still there. Then we powered it off for a while and then powered it on and the line is still there. It is there during boot with the Apple logo displayed, before logging in and when logged in.
The MacBook is used on the dining table and is hardly ever moved around and when it is moved it is with care. The MacBook has not suffered a fall or any damage of sorts.
Is there anything I can do to sort this out? This is my wife's MacBook and I'm not familiar with them.
