If you're still on Linea Sketch previous version, think twice before updating.
Because if you do, you'll be sucked into their subscription model.

I've had my deal of subscription disappointments. Not a single one proved to be worthy so far, and I don't believe for a second that Iconfactory will prove to be any different. I could be wrong of course.

I removed Linea Sketch from my device, and you all be warned.

This post provides a good warning, levies fair critique but it doesn't tell the whole story. Iconfactory includes subscription pricepoints alongside high-priced 'buy once' option. It's not as if users forced to pay rent.

Version 2 auto-updated and now I'm stuck with watermarks and a little nag message. Stupid move. I liked version 2. Been using it since version 1.0. All my artwork is kind of useless with that watermark unless I pay. If I knew this was going to happen I would have exported everything while I was still on version 2. I've been told that they announced this in December on their blog. Too bad I don't read the blogs from every developer's apps I use.

This a good point. And, really, it's reprehensible. Iconfactory should have made upgrade bundle (à la GoodNotes app).

Feels as if I've got Stockholm syndrome lol. I'm so annoyed by dumbass Flexibits's lack of upgrade bundle plus lack of 'buy once' pricepoint (for Fantastical 3) that I overlooked Iconfactory's lack of upgrade bundle -- just because Iconfactory does offer 'buy once' purchase.

Linea users paid for the good version of the app not for a bad one. Iconfactory should have made upgrade bundle!
