In the last couple of weeks I've noticed persistent lines in the upper, center part of the display on my 24" aluminum iMac. I know lots of problems have been reported with the displays on these, but this isn't anything I've heard of.

Attached is a pic of the lines, zoomed about 2x. They are most apparent on light, solid, backgrounds.

Thanks
Kyle

Ee GADS!! That looks similar to a defect I had on my own 24" aluminum iMac only WAY worse! Definitely send it in to Apple. I had only one line like the top one on yours and it was also mostly visible only on lighter backgrounds. I sent it in to Apple and they immediately confirmed it and replaced the LCD panel. All is well now.

Good luck.
