Hi, this morning this piece broke off my original apple watch link bracelet that I bought around when the series 1 came out, didnt wear it daily. I started wearing it daily the last couple of months. Can this be fixed, should I take it to the apple store? Thx

The same thing happened to mine last year. I didn’t bother trying for warranty claim and just carefully superglued it back on. Still in place and working fine. If you do this you only need a tiny drop and make sure it does not spread out into the mechanism.

Yeah, I think nowadays Apple is mostly pretending the link bracelet doesn't exist. Any hope of replacement or repair by Apple is lost.

Thankfully, though, Chargerstore sells just the clasp.

Looks like for now all he has is 38mm, but if you message him he might have a 42mm in stock.

Thx I contacted that store they dont have the 42mm one that I need. Btw. that store is great, ordered from them before. I managed to superglue it myself. In the meantime got a call from a senoir advisor, they will do a “one time only claim” or whatever they call it and are sending me a new replacement! 😆

Same thing just happened to me but I have no idea what happened to the missing piece, sucks big time on a $350 watch band that it can’t be repaired, they should sell replacement clasps
