Beyond the electronics, Apple really innovated with the design of the strap system. I have a few band straps (favorite is still the Sports Straps) that I like to swap on occasion, but am interested in getting the link bracelet. It looks like you are supposed to disassemble it before putting it on and taking it off.

How often do people with the link bracelet switch to other straps, and about how long does it take? Any wear issues with swapping the link bracelet often?

I wouldn't be switching bands more often than once or twice a week, likely even less during the summer.

Many thanks.

usually your belt should have the same color as your shoes extended to your watchband it should go together with your shoes and your belt (should have the same color). Stainless-steel-watchbands go with everything - so you are much less likely to switch watchbands when you have your link band.

Personally I am awaiting my link-band, but I like the "Panerai-Radiomir"-look of the Apple watch so much that I am wearing mostly my croc-leather watchbands.

That being said, leather is not ideal for hot summer: With Polo-Shirts I will wear the link band more often!

You don't disassemble it - at least I don't....i wear mine almost exclusively - it looks nice, it's waterproof, and it's as comfortable as my sport bands. The only reason I might switch it out for a day or so with a colorful sport band is just out of boredom and then I realize it doesn't look as nice and I change back to the link band. :)

its probably the only thing i like about the watch as well as the fact i can see how active i am each day by looking at my steps

I have yet to change my band and I've had my Apple Watch Black stainless steel with black link band since early July. At the time I bought the watch I thought i'd probably want to eventually get a couple of sports bands and maybe the classic leather band, but I just love my link band so much that I probably never will get around to changing it!
