iPad Pro Linus Tech Tips Reviews the 2020 iPad Pro

Not a fan of his so I haven’t watched it yet. But its a Linus video I’ll assume its mostly rambling, reading the spec sheet, benchmarks, criticism and then he’ll go back to not using it until the next model comes out. And he’ll get 2M views and a sponsor out of it.

Guess he should stick to a laptop. I didn't watch as I don't want to give these guys the click-hits to make money off of.
He doesn't see any use in his workflow for the ipad Pro so dismisses it...the end.
He's a laptop and desktop guy. Personally any computing I can do without listening to a computer fan is a plus right there.

I am sorry to be a dissenter here, but Linus usually has valid and reasonably fair opinions not just on Apple, but all manufacturers. That IS an Apple Watch he is wearing and openly feels AirPod Pros are the gold standard. That said, I have not watched this particular iPad review.
EDIT: After watching, seems fairly positive though not sure why before Linus was so pleased Apple added peripheral support and now is mildly critical that it can act like a stripped down MacBook.

I’ve never watched his videos but he always looks like a massive dick in the snapshots. Probably why I haven’t watched, even a picture of him is annoying.
I find him incredibly annoying. His voice grates on me.
I’m there with you; I actually enjoy many of his videos, and even when I disagree with him, he does at least being valid opinions for a particular viewpoint to the table.
As far as this review, he seems more disappointed that Apple is taking a slow, steady march towards laptopness, adding in features a little bit at a time making it a disappointing laptop at the moment instead of going in whole hog adding in features. I can see how that could be frustrating to see/use. I personally use my iPads as supplementary pure tablets, so I’m not really concerned. But again, I’d disagree but can see his point from his view.
Ya he’s irritating. Everything about him annoys me. I’m not even gonna watch his videos.
I make a point not to watch any YouTube videos where the thumbnail is the annoying facepalm snapshot with whatever product they are reviewing. I have zero patience for those type of YouTuber. The negativity on the platform is just exhausting.
I watch his other stuff, just not his Apple ones. Hopefully more people do that so he can see others are more interested in him talking about non-Apple stuff and stay away from Apple.
I subscribe to Linus’s channel and usually just gloss over the stuff that disinterests me, this video included. I had a pretty good hunch what key points they’d touch on in the course of the video so there were no surprises for me. All in all nothing earth shattering or memorable. I did wonder though if a thread about it would get posted here and what kind of comments about it there would be. You folks never disappoint. I loved the irony of some of the responses.

Yeah, I don't understand why people like him. There are dumb memes all over the internet about him. He doesn't deserve the fame that he gets.
Unfortunately in many cases a medium such as YouTube is as hollow as good old fashioned ad based TV.
Meh just is what it is . . The value I find in many YouTube channels is providing me awareness of things that are possible, but like anything else people need to be smart enough to filter out what they need for themselves. Not any different than watching the news or mainstream media sources. Hell, even here on these forums . . .
I am so glad that I am not the only one that has a huge dislike for this guy. He annoys the hell out of me and I’ve only got to see his stupid face and it winds me up.

Im a big youtuber consumer. You can get a lot of information and entertainment. There's way better channels that Linus. He traffics in click bait headlines similar to unboxing therapy. Both their delivery and content is off putting. Lon Simon, 9-5 mac, brian tong, rene r. that's just the surface level youtuber providing good content.
