I've been using Bootcamp on my Mac Pro 5,1 running Windows 10, I'm really starting to hate using it for various reasons. I need Windows 10 for certain school related programs and for the occasional gaming. I wanted to look into my options of running VM's of Windows with high speeds, without being in a Windows 10 environment 24/7. I've always wanted to try Linux KVM's as I've heard they allow almost native performance of windows 10, and I recently upgraded to a VT-X supported CPU, the X5680.

Should I try installing a Linux distro, and running a windows 10 KVM inside it? Or are their other options to stay in Mac OS and do some sort of KVM in Mac OS if possible.

I'm not looking to stay on Bootcamp regardeless, I'm ready for pain and suffering if needed :).

Thanks
