Since the beta version is downloaded through the app store. I know we can only guess at this time but do you think the final version will be available in the app store or will they only sell it as a boxed dvd?

Of course this is speculation, but looks like Apple will sell it through the app store. Two things are great about this: (1) Easy for the consumer. No need to go to the store or buy online to have it shipped. (2) Easy for apple to monitor illegal copies. If copies are validated through an apple id, makes it very easy to track.

Beta is downloaded through the app store? Since when? I just got the dmg off the developer's account?

hmm i went to my developer account it gave me a code and told me to go to app store and redeem code. then it started downloading in the purchase section of my app store in a new box called other purchaes.

You get a code to redeem in the app store. Once you use it there, it downloads through App store.
