One would think that if they are about to release a new air, it would be the one on the Lion signs, such as the pics on the frontpage. The only way to tell this would be to see an up close look of the button layout to see if there is a backlit keyboard button, right?

I was looking for exactly the same thing!

Unfortunately I could see no evidence of the backlit keyboard on the promo images

Maybe they will update the promo image once the new Airs are out, or perhaps forego it altogether?

Or maybe they won't have the sides opened up and literally just the letter will light up.

Or maybe they sent third party suppliers a different poster that has the current air on it so they don't leak it before tomorrow, and official Apple stores do have the backlit keyboard button...

Or the rumor was wrong.

A poster under the front page article mentioned that the screen bezel appears to be thinner than the current model. Apple isnt exactly the type of company that makes a mistake like that on promotional material. Perhaps the new airs are getting slightly larger screens?

EDIT: nevermind. I looked at the pics on apples site and it appears the same as the current 13".
