Lion Release This Week

Hopefully it is this week who is going to be upgrading? I bought a new iMac over the weekend so i'll be doing the free upgrade as well as sticking a copy on my MacBook Pro too.

I'll be getting my first Apple computer on Lion. Whenever they release the Macbook Air (which is hopefully with Lion this week).

I like Apple for mobile solutions (Laptops)... not so much in desktops (though if I were looking for a quality IPS panel and was on a budget I'd definitely go with an iMac that's for sure... but not the case for me... happy with my TN panel and I game so I do custom desktops when it comes to that). Anyways... getting off-topic.

Yes, I'm excited. I'll be going for the new stuff too

Good move since the iMac was already refreshed. Anyone looking at any model other than the iMac should hold off, new versions of everything with Thunderbolt and hopefully Sandy Bridge should be out soon. Your iMac should fly compared to my 2010 Mini.

Hahahahaha. That's exactly what I was thinking too. Those are the two exact things that I'm hyped for this week. (That and the fact that I'll be going for sushi with my family on Tuesday... oh how I love sushi). I just hope that this time around I don't get stuck in front of some loud-mouthed 13 year old kid who's with a group of his friends <_<; The last Harry Potter movie I sat through, the kid never got kicked out, and everyone was telling him to shut up... ruined the experience 100%. This time I won't be going on the day of the release... I'll probably wait a day and see it at a late-night showing to try my best to avoid loud-mouthers (which are becoming so much more common in theaters it seems).

I'm most excited for Lion I'm a massive tech enthusiast but I have deliberately avoided anything to do with Lion - more exciting this way!

I don't actually know what any of the features are at all apart from LaunchPad but I just know the name I don't know what it does.

On the day it comes out I'm going to download it and see what I think
