I agree with most (had installed & uninstalled 2 dev. versions myself).

I believe more of articles like this one, and :apple:, the golden boys of computers, might actually start listening.

Can not say much but that I also agree, in principle, with the author.

Having used the Lion since Monday I have to say that the things, I had a negative feeling about before I installed the GM, are still disappointing.

Sure, one can get used to the disaster the Mission control is, what bloody choice does one have?

However, having said that - I think that Lion comparison to Vista needs to be clarified.

For :apple: Lion is Vista, but in a different way. While Vista was a total disaster in all respects, it was buggy, slow... disturbing. It pushed me towards Mac OS X.

Lion, although very fast, is not a progressive revision. Lion is a disappointment, sure, mainly because of (for me) window management issues. Vista was full of dangerous computer slowing crap. Lion is fast, indeed thanks to Unix, but that only goes so far.

One expects more from :apple:. Lion certainly does not provide for those expectations and in not delivering it deserves to be compared to that, other, disappointment in OS "upgrade".
