I noticed something interesting while conducting more experiments with Lion. On my test iMac (which uses a Magic Trackpad), I did a clean install of Snow Leopard, along with all the apps I normally use, then upgraded to Lion. I created one user account with the Snow Leopard install, and one subsequent to the Lion upgrade. Knowing that Mozilla has yet to opt in to the two-finger scrolling of Firefox 5.0's history (a la Safari), I was curious to see if I could get three-finger scrolling to work. This is where things got a little interesting.
The Snow Leopard user account still has the ability to use the double-tap and hold (or drag lock) to enable the user to drag a window around the screen. The Lion user account does not have that ability, but uses the new three-finger gesture to accomplish the same task. I have found no way to enable drag lock with the Lion user account.
With the Snow Leopard user account, I was able to get the three-finger navigation in Firefox, however. On the last tab for the trackpad (I have a Magic Mouse, but did not test with it), I set the page scrolling to use two or three fingers. That automatically turned off the three finger drag gesture. At that point, however, I was able to use two fingers in Safari, and three fingers in Firefox, to move backwards and forwards in the browser's history. Note that the direction is reversed from Safari to Firefox for this functionality, but at least it is there.
As I mentioned, this was only accomplished with the user account created during the Snow Leopard install. During the upgrade to Lion, the user is not presented with the opportunity to create a user account, so the second user account was created subsequent to the Lion upgrade. That user account was limited with respect to trackpad gestures.

I never used them before, but saw another post referencing them, so I checked them out. One thing I had working was using the CTL button while scrolling with the trackpad to enable full screen zoom. I'm not sure what I did, but it isn't working now.
