So, I bought my first apple product back in September, a 21.5 imac and I couldn't be more happier with it. I would like to upgrade to lion when it comes out, and I was wondering would I have to reinstall all the programs I have put on this computer such as CS5, guitar pro 6, office 2011, or will they remain untouched. Sorry if this questions been asked before but I couldn't find anything using the search.

As stated above, an upgrade can keep your apps and files OK, but before you upgrade, read about how Lion is working with your particular apps - such as CS5, etc... if there are issues, you'll want to wait till Adobe or Apple fix them, for instance.
