Lion without multitouch

Has anyone experienced Lion without any kind of multitouch trackpad or a magic mouse?

My parents have my old 2008 Blackbook with SL and I've half a mind to leave them with 10.6 as it's perfectly satisfactory for their needs, but I'm also concerned about how the lack of a multitouch trackpad is going to impact everyday Lion usage; it's not a topic that I've seen addressed anywhere....

On mine I've been just using hot corners for mission control and I've been getting by just fine. Given the choice I'd go for the full multitouch experience though.

Aye, I've got it on a white MacBook from around that period and it's totally usuable...but I'm consider buying a Trackpad now.
