I thought apple was going to include server with Lion, not just allow you to buy it as an optional extra from the App Store.

I guess this would be the difference, whether it can Lion can be virtualised (with server add-on), or just another client (stand alone)

This would be good to test (if true), as its prefer to do first, to see if its ok for a fews days, before committing it to the main machine.

Apple *should* include Server with Lion.. After all, it won't do any harm just sitting there if people don't use it, they could stick in in as an "optional install" ....
 
Tell that to owners of an 11" macbook air with a 64Gb SSD. I think they will strongly disagree!

Yeah, they should give the server upgrade for free, because the Lion upgrade is so expensive. :rolleyes:
