iPad Air Liquid resistance question

Today I noticed a small stain that was from dried up residue . I don’t know if it’s was from cereal milk or from when I cleaned it with a lens wipe. I didn’t see any sign of liquid on the cover on the case. Is the seal on the screen good enough to block a small amount of liquid from damaging it? I don’t see any damage on the screen so far but I don’t know.

The display has an adhesive around it which will probably stop a couple drops of liquid. The main purpose is to keep the display assembly secured to the chassis however.
