I downloaded this app at the suggestion of someone on here. So far, I’m loving it!

iOS 11 doesn’t give you any info on charge cycles anymore, which is a drag. I was told the “battery health” info given by Lirum is accurate, and that someone had compared the results from the app to those of coconut battery.

My 8 plus is 2 weeks old, and it says the battery health is 104%(2800/2675mah)

Can anyone who has coconut battery compare your results and let us know if this app really is accurate? Thanks.

I'll be interested in user reports. From their website, it does not appear that they claim that they can provide battery cycle count, and are only inferring (their word) battery health. http://liruminfo.lirumlabs.com/2016/10/06/battery-cycles/

This is not their fault. Apple made the information unavailable within iOS starting with iOS 10.
Exactly. I got the $2.99 paid app, just to show my support. If we can’t have cycle counts, it would be very nice to know that the battery health info is accurate.

Yeah, not surprised. I didn't download the Lirum app, but your report is exactly what I'd expect.

I'm not sure where CoconutBattery is pulling its data. It must be getting information outside iOS, which is why it's not an app.

As mentioned before, all battery info apps on the iOS AppStore is useless now.

If the phone has a 2675mah battery and it can tell it takes 2575mah to completely charge it, isn't that semi accurate info?

Not necessarily because batteries never really charge up to 100%. This is done on purpose to reduce the chances of explosion.

Apple does not want us having access to battery health info, because it would be easier to notice the correlation between battery and performance.
