The thread title says it all. Several people have claimed that their local Apple store has the i7 2010 iMac available for pickup, so let's start a thread of locations who have these available. I have checked on all of the Colorado stores and am being told they do not have them.

For those in LA area, I bought my i7 2.93 from the Apple store in Glendale last Friday. I was surprised they were stocking i7's at all, so I decided its a good idea to grab one right then and there without having to wait for shipping. Picked up applecare as well, so no worries for three years. Any problems and I can just drop it off, no shipping anywhere. Not bad.

They had at least more than one in stock at the time, but I'll bet now that the Mac Pro$ have been announced, these i7's are probably now sold out.

I wanted to get a pro, but I knew those six core ones would be waaay too much, and the 4 core was just plain highway robbery. So, after waiting six months to get the new pro, I bought an Imac 3 days before the pro came out. And I couldn't be happier.

Very happy with my purchase- the screen looks great, no funny noises or dead pixels either. Sooooooo much quieter than my wind tunnel G5. Very beautiful monitor. FWIW, this one said assembled in USA on the box.

Shadyside Pittsburgh, PA

Just confirmed that they have plenty in stock at the Shadyside store in Pittsburgh, PA.
Now i am going to pick one up after work instead of ordering one online. Guess i will have to upgrade the RAM on my own.
oh well, . . . too cool

I picked up my i7 last Saturday at the Northridge Apple Store.

On a side note, I have never seen the Apple Store as busy as it has been lately. It's hard to look at anything and even harder to find a free employee to ring up a sale.
