Added LastPass.

Imo it’d be good to highlight any iOS 12 features these apps take advantage of, if any. Sometimes apps mention compatibility with new iOS versions in their notes, but that’s not always as interesting as making use of new features.

Agree!

Interesting.. I didn't think apple lets apps with new features and api's slip thru the door before the iOS major release is actually released.

Interesting that you say that: Carrot weather released a beta earlier this week with the API. Shortcuts were active. Today, new beta, and no shortcuts. I sent a message to the developer asking if Apple asked him to pull back. Will post what I hear.

Facebook and Instagram have shortcut options, but I don’t recall if they have always been in the app as an option or if there was a recent update.

They're pretty much always done this in the week between announcement and public release once GM out, nothing new about it really.

It depends. On apps that literally only work because of a new feature they don’t, a good example is Swiftkey or Swype when iOS introduced third party keyboards, Apple didn’t release those apps till launch day. In the case of bug fixes it doesn’t make a big difference, and with shortcut intergration it doesn’t matter because those who aren’t on iOS 12 wont see anything difference until they update.

Love the LastPass update, I completely disabled Keychain across all my devices and now I don't have to worry about running 2 password managers.
