List of bluetooth mice that can connect to iOS?

So far I know of two mice that can connect to iOS for use with remote desktop: Swiftpoint GT and Citrix X1. Does any one know of any other mice that will connect to iOS for use with a remote desktop program? If so ill list them here for reference.

Mice that work:

• Swiftpoint GT
• Citrix X1

I actually didn't know that iOS supported any mice.

It doesn't. Programs can use it. I use citrix X1 mouse and it works great in citrix receiver.

Citrix x1 is not discontinued. I just got mine about a week ago. It seems only citrix sells it directly

They seem to have disabled the product on their site. It also works with Jump Desktop and splash as well.

They haven't disabled the product on their site, but they DO require you to create a Citrix account. I already own a Citrix X1 mouse but I just went to their site to see if the product page is still there. The creation of a Citrix account is apparently a new requirement since the time that I bought mine. But the purchase page appears to still be active.

(I wouldn't be surprised if the frequent mentions of the X1 mouse on this forum have driven sales up of the X1 and Citrix wants to capture contact info for those of us who use the mouse with other RDP software like Jump Desktop. )

The mouse is $60 which I initially balked at, but after purchasing it and using it on my 12.9 iPad Pro with Jump Desktop, I can wholeheartedly recommend this mouse. It works great and really makes using remote access on the iPad quite enjoyable and productive.

Don't think it works with splash. I only know of it working with Jump and citrix. I haven't tried jump yet, waiting for it to go back on sale. You need to create citrix account and cough up $70 ($60 + $10 shipping)

If you're using Citrix Receiver, note that you can use a second iOS device as a trackpad. So for example, if you're using Citrix on your iPad, you can pull up Citrix on your iPhone and then turn the iPhone into a "Magic Trackpad." Of course, this also works with two iPads, if you're carrying two.

A physical mouse still has a lot of appeal, but this is a pretty neat feature that's tucked away in options menus and that gives you a bit more functionality with devices you're likely already carrying.

Here are the instructions on how to set this up, taken from Citrix's support site:

To pair another device as a remote trackpad
You can use another iOS device (an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch) as a remote trackpad to control Receiver apps on your iPad.

Both devices, the iPad and the iOS controlling device, must have Receiver installed. You can use pairing to control only Receiver applications on your iPad.

Note: The pairing feature is not available for any other type of wireless mouse.

1. Ensure Bluetooth or WiFi is enabled on both iOS devices.
2. On the iPad, start Receiver and start the application. From the toolbar, tap Pair.
3. On the iOS controlling device, in Receiver, tap Settings, and then tap Advanced. Tap Wireless Trackpad, and confirm the connection.
4. Drag your finger on the controlling device screen as a touch-screen mouse inside the running application on the iPad.

This pairing continues until you close the application on the iPad.
