The "Listen for Siri" option is missing in settings. Is this an error, or is Apple deprecating that on MacOS? If so, does anyone know why? Seems really stupid, as Siri was just beginning to become almost useful.

Are you not seeing it here?

Listen for “Hey Siri” - available on some Mac models. This option is only available if your Mac or paired AirPods support Hey Siri.

I have a related problem. I only see Listen for Hey Siri on Headphones. I have a Mini M1 and an external microphone hooked up so there is no reason why I can't have it listen all of the time. Why do I not see an option for Listen for Hey Siri?

Based off the 'Devices that support Hey Siri' link above, no Mac minis are supported regardless of whether you have a Mic attached or not,

Never mind. I had to go to their website and re-read it. It stinks that we can't have it on ALLL Apple products.
