Hey could someone please come to my house and build me a deck? I'll be in the house sipping iced tea. When you're done please make sure you clean up any mess you've made.

Optional: Firepit where I can grill.

Yes, even funnier than asking someone to make an app for you and provide source so you can sell it yourself is asking for that in the App Store forum where the non-programmers hang out :D

You could have at least posted in the iPhone dev forum so they could get a good laugh at you too...

aww

No prob! give me 5 minutes.

look if anybody is going to make a big fuss over it, then please don't comment. I was only asking for some help not a job. Forums are supposed to be friendly. So far, plumbingandtech is the nicest that I can see, but I do not think it would take that short of a time to create a program. Please I only ask for help.

I am only asking for help. If you can't help then PLEASE DON'T COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was not planning on selling it I am just a learner. I right now need all the help I can get.

I only ask of good things.

Why not visit the the iPhone Programming subforums to get HELP with your program. But, just so you know, no one will write your program for you like you requested.

If you need sample code to learn things, go download all of Apple's samples at the SDK website, run them in the simulator and modify them to see how they work. Or buy a book on Objective-C or Cocoa programming. As others have echoed... no one will write this program for you.

ToDo by Appigo has many of the features you are looking for, but not all. It can

1. Display the number of tasks that are currently due or overdue. It displays this on the icon, like Mail, Phone, SMS. I don't think you can turn it off, however.

2. Has check boxes (actually circles) next to the task to mark it as done.

3. Records the date and time you completed the task.

4. Has the ability to set due dates. It also has the ability for repeating tasks. However, you can't set a reminder or alarm for tasks.

I'll try and post some screen shots later on.

It's a good app, I have it. Of course it is only possible in the app to display the due items in the red circle once the app has been opened that day. If the app hasn't been used that day yet, it won't display the red circle at all.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Hopefully, they will fix that with an update.

It's not a bug (so there's nothing to fix). Apple doesn't allow apps to run in the background which is the only way it could put up a badge without you having run it that day.
