lit problem, acceptable?

So, i just recieved my macbook pro 15 2.2ghz after waiting almost 4 weeks. i unpacked it like a child on christmas. But! im not to happy with the lit when its closed.

I got a couple of mm's air on the left side, hard to explain but tject out the picture on the url. and tell me what you think. Acceptable or should i sent it back?

(notice that you can almost se the view through the window in the background through the "GAP")

It's hard to tell from that photo what the problem is.

Are you saying the screen stays lit if even when you close the lid? If so, definitely get it replaced.

it closes alright but theres a "air gap" on a couple of milimeters on the left side. looks wierd.

my 17" was that way and when it went in for it's original LB replacement they fixed it and it wasnt' that way upon return.
