Owie :( I don't even know how this happened. I'm a protective freak when it comes to my lappy... and now this! I can't believe it.

How much would it cost to get something like that fixed, if it's even possible...?

Oh, it didn't come this way. Sorry if I confused you. It's been perfect ever since I bought it 3 months ago. It just happened sometime today... I remember it wasn't there this morning, but this afternoon I saw it :(. I have no idea how the heck I did it!

Its on the plastic border, well joint to be exact, shouldnt be expensive to replace, ask the applestore

I don't have a "real" apple store anywhere near, but I'll stop by the reseller in town, Mac Odyssey. Hopefully she'll be back to new in no time...

@TristanH: The upgrade was very smooth :). I did a clean install (because I'm a clean freak, heh) but I've installed most all of my programs so far, and transfered all my 'stuff'. Everything from Photoshop and Dreamweaver to silly little 3rd party apps have worked so far. I really don't have any complaints... Everything seems to run pretty smooth. Already given a presentation at school with keynote and whatnot while running Leopard.

The only hitch I ran into was after installing iLife '08, iMovie would not start up. It instantly crashed every time... To get it to work I had to download an update via Software Update. After that everything is fine, but that was a little silly if you ask me. A novice user would probably be pretty furious if a) they didn't have an internet connection or b) they didn't even know what was wrong.

Other than that I couldn't be happier!

oh and if you care about the ding on the aluminum part, that owuld be costly, just state you need the plastic replaced
