Hi everyone :)

I don't usually have 'bad luck' with iOS updates but despite looking forward to the final release of iOS 11 and generally liking the new look of the control centre and some of the other changes there are a few things that are really annoying to me and I'm wondering if I'm just unlucky or if these are common issues?

Battery life. I know, pretty much every update they'll be someone complaining about battery issues.
However generally I never notice this, but since updating to 11, my battery goes from fully charged to about 80-85% overnight, just sitting there in standby. It never used to do this.

The camera app. Even though I have my settings to 'preserve' for things like the live photo feature etc, now it seems half the time it decides to switch them on by itself, when I didn't ask it too.

3D touch lag. It used to be smooth as ever, but now whilst on the home screen, if I 3D touch on any apps or folders, theres a really obvious lag/delay in the animation transition while opening the 3D touch menu.

Notes. Why does it often go back to the 'Folders' screen? My notes app has never done this prior to iOS 11 and would open the folder that I had open the last time the app was open.

Photos. Not sure if related to the camera app or not, but now when I sometimes take pictures in landscape mode, upon viewing them in Photos, they have often turned themselves back round to portrait, meaning I often have to manually turn them around again.

There's probably a few other little things I've noticed, but they are the ones off the top of my head.

It's just really annoying things, and I just can't believe an iOS main release which had plenty of Beta's gets released to all with all these problems.

I'm using an iPhone 7 and have updated to 11.1 (which hasn't made a difference to any of these issues), if thats useful.

Yeah, sorry that really sucks. I also have never had any major issues that I can remember except some battery drain a few times and the entire iOS 8: that was terrible.

Lag is right there with battery drain regarding annoyances.

With all this reporting of iOS 11 problems, I'll be staying in 10.3.3 until there's a big security patch, or reports that iOS 11 is the same performance as iOS 10.

If I were you, I'd do that IPSW restore to 10... PRONTO.
[doublepost=1507119600][/doublepost]I suspect that there are these issues with iOS 11 because now they have THREE devices that is has to work with: iphone, iphone X, and iPad.

You should restore your phone back to 11.0.2 to address battery life issues. By installing iOS 11.1, you have put beta software on your device that uses additional resources for beta testing. Additionally, Apple doesn’t worry about battery life until later builds of betas as they prepare to seed it to the public.

My Air 2 and 8Plus have had really good battery life on 11.0.1 and that has continued now to 11.0.2. I did set up both devices as new, so that may also contribute to that.

Apologies, I ment to put 11.0.1. Thats the current version I have installed. Not a beta.
