Hey just picked up my iPad just over a week ago and went to put a screen protector on and i noticed about 4-5 little scratchs none bigger thank 1/2 inch. Only my brother, my wife, and me have used this and we all own iPhones do you think this is normal i seen a thread on here saying someone at the apple store showed him what they should put up with after finding minimal scratchs. Do you think i should take it back to the apple store or it is normal wear? i baby this thing so much i take my wedding ring off to hold it just incase i scratch it ha. thanks

The iPad has the same oleophobic screen the iPhone 3GS does. That is what can scratch, its normal wear and tear. I've been using my 3GS naked for many months, and it has quite a few tiny little scratches. I can't even see them unless the screen is off.

This may sound weird but are you sure it's not the star trails in the wallpaper? I only ask this because I have had a couple people think the trails were scratches, scared me until I looked at what they were talking about!

No I am looking at my ipad in sleep mode so it is not the wallpaper although I did get freaked out right when I got it and brought it home and opened it I thought it had scratches ha. But like I said u can only see these with the ipad in sleep mode or off. I'm a little sad I never wanted to see the day the screen got scratched luckly u can't see them without looking for them. I should have went to apple instead of ordering the protector.
