I managed to find a copy of 7B85 and it seems to run great on my 800mhz TiBook. Has anyone else seen vast improvements in battery life? Also little "features" have popped up like I no longer have to hit a key to wake up from sleep, just open the screen. Has anyone noticed anything else along these lines?

Well, I don't have a copy of Panther, but my 1GHz TiBook wakes up from sleep
when I open it already.

Does it seem to run faster than 10.2?
Is the Finder any better?

Start up and shut down are a lot faster however, applications do not seem to do much better. I guess Mail loads a bit quicker.

The finder is fairly easy to navigate around. One nice thing is that you can eject pccards/cd's from the finder, no more dragging them into the trash. Also you can get at network drives from the finder window rather than using the "Go" menu.

You could always right-click (or control-click) on the icons and click Eject. Same goes for iPod's as well.

If where you "managed to find a copy of 7B85" is where most people have been getting it then its not REALLY 7B85 its just 7B80 hacked to make you think its 85
