Is there anyway to link my Live calendar to the Calendar app on my Macbook? I went to Accounts and was able to add my Live email and notes but it doesn't have a box for Calendar like it does on my iPhone. Does anyone know I can add my Live calendar and have it automatically update between my devices?

Under Internet Accounts in Settings, you should have an "Exchange" item. Use that instead of Outlook, and you should be able to sync Calendars.

When I try to set it up as an "Exchange" account, I get a message saying unable to verify account name or password but I am entering it in correctly. It then wants me to fill in "internal URL and external URL".

When our hotmail account has been migrated to the new Exchange backend you will be able to access your calendar and contacts from Mac. My accounts has been recently migrated and I couldn't have been happier.

Odd that asking for additional server information. Per the screen grabs, your iOS device is setup using Exchange. When I setup Exchange on my Mac, only issue I had was that I needed to enter a app-specific password generated by the Outlook website (2-factor is on). Never asked for anything else other than login name. But, could be due to I never had a Hotmail or Live account, started with an outlook.com address (clean slate).

Then again, wouldn't be surprised in that there always seems to be a disconnect with Mail on Apple OSes. From persona experience, iOS Mail does Google IMAP well, where Mac Mail is a mess with regard to Gmail.

A possible option is to move over to outlook.com for your mail and create a mail alias back to the old Live account. Might not even have to do the alias, since maybe MS will handle that behind the scenes.
