Is it possible somehow to turn off the “Live Photo” option in the Apple photo app? It seems that “Live Photo” is the default and unless you turn it off before taking a photo you will unknowingly take every photo as a “Live Photo.” Now there are times when I may want to take a “Live Photo,” but not each and every photo I take. Besides “Live Photo’s” eat up storage at a fantastic rate.

Settings->Camera->Preserve Settings->Live Photo. Turn this on and it won't default to live photo once you turn it off in the camera app.

Live Photos take up about 10% more storage. I wouldn’t call that fantastically more.
