Live text feature missing on iPad 11" M1?

Hi!

I cannot seem to find or activate "Live text" feature on my 11" M1 with latest public beta? Is it supposed to work on iPads / do I need to switch it on somehow? I think I have seen YouTube videos with it working on iPad.

I’m seeing it on the 12.9 M1 iPad Pro.

In photos, on a text with images, you should see this icon:

It doesn’t seem to be working when trying to get text ‘live’ on the Camera app though, which the iPhone will do. Could be coming later on though, or live text capture could be iPhone only. Time will tell.

Oh, ok. Yes, it is working on the photos for me also! I did not check it there as my understanding was that it was supposed to work in camera, but at least I got it in photos now!
