Live Text stopped working

All of a sudden Live Text stopped working and i have no idea where or how you would turn it on or off. I use it constantly to scrape text from memes and so forth and this will drive me insane.

(I had an issue earlier today that turned out to be with iCloud Drive Desktop and Documents but was affecting Messages at the time (couldnt drag and drop images into texts) and I eventually wiped out my Finder and Messages settings - no idea whether this is related but I can't imagine why it would be)

It's before Sonoma, so you might need to do some poking around. If you find the checkbox, and it's checked, I suggest unchecking it then rechecking it. Sometimes a setting goes haywire, and disabling it then re-enabling it fixes it. This doesn't always work, but it's worth a shot.

I posted this twice, once in the generic macOS forum and once in the Sonoma forum. I should have mentioned it though. Anyway, i never in a million years found it under Languages and Regions. Idiotic. Anyway, did not work. 😭
