What good is the live wallpaper if it never moves? Maybe I am not doing something right. But....is that wallpaper supposed to move as it does in the "demo" where you choose it?

I know, it’s lame. The galaxy note 9 with live wallpaper is pretty awesome. With that said, I’ll keep my Max due to the iOS ecosystem.

Yep, good ole force touch. Also, if it was moving all the time, I wonder how much effect it would have on the battery.
Then again, probably not much. Probably would run like Always On Screen, on Android...

This is a valid question

The expectation this day and technological age should be more like dynamic wallpaper using short videos or gifs.

The dynamic is what I’m currently using but would love more options.

I agree. No one's actually going to sit there, wake up their phone, force touch their screen just to watch it move, and then unlock their phone. It's dumb. I get it's probably a battery drain to have it always on, but at least give us the option.

Exactly this. I'd love to be able to set (trimmed) videos and/or gifs as a live wallpaper.

Wonder if Apple will ever allow animated wallpapers to be sold through App Store the way Android does?

Probably never. Remember it took Apple (Steve Jobs) a while to allow the even user changing the wallpaper of the home screen to begin with.

I know that Live wallpaper takes recourses of CPU. So I prefer do not use it at all.
