Hello there!
I have a Macbook with 2.16 C2D, 160 GB HDD, 2GB RAM running 10.4.11.
I've began to notice that after extended usage, free RAM reduces to about 10MB, unused RAM hovers about 1.1GB and at this point of time...page outs start happening. Isn't Mac supposed to manage unused RAM for applications?
Do you smell something wrong or am I being paranoid for no reason?
Cheers,
Z

I had the same experience with Tiger, after 1 week or so, Safari and Firefox would eat all of my ram. Leopard is much better managing memory.. and I dont notice any memory leaks Safari 3.
